In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Mobile, Alabama, the sound of gunfire shattered the quiet of Orange Street. When officers from the Mobile Police Department arrived at the 1000 block of the street at approximately 8:06 p.m. on February 5, 2023, they found a young man lying in the roadway. Eighteen-year-old Keshon Cartrell Bellamy, a male from the nearby community of Semmes, had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
