On a Sunday in Montgomery, Alabama, the life of 58-year-old Lewis Cardell Woodall was cut short by an act of violence. On January 15, 2023, Woodall was shot in the 3500 block of Carter Hill Road. First responders found him with a life-threatening gunshot wound and quickly transported him to a local hospital for emergency treatment.
