In the winter of 2022, the life of 42-year-old Melissa Cody was tragically cut short in a violent encounter at a hotel in the Tillman's Corner area of Mobile, Alabama. On the evening of February 2nd, police were called to the scene where they discovered Cody had been fatally shot. Another man was also found to have sustained injuries during the incident.
