In the fading daylight of an October evening in Mobile, Alabama, a sequence of events unfolded that would end a life and lead to a swift arrest. On Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at around 7:30 p.m., the sound of gunfire shattered the evening calm in the vicinity of Michigan Avenue and Melrose Street.
