In the late hours of a February evening in Mobile, Alabama, a minor traffic incident escalated into a fatal encounter for 35-year-old Patrick Edwards. On February 4, 2020, Edwards and his wife were involved in a hit-and-run accident. The other driver, later identified as 31-year-old Trenton Thornton, fled the scene.
