On the night of July 23, 2021, a domestic dispute in the 2700 block of Carter Avenue in Mobile, Alabama, turned deadly. James L. Ross, a 46-year-old White/Caucasian male, was shot during the altercation. The incident occurred at approximately 11:13 p.m., prompting a response from the Mobile Police Department.
