On the night of July 24, 2020, in Oxford, Alabama, a fatal shooting occurred involving Maurice S. Bryant, aged 49. Around 11:30 p.m., Oxford Police responded to a 911 call reporting a person shot in the 3300 block of Highway 78 West.
