In the summer of 2020, Henry McAlpine, a 44-year-old man from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, lost his life to gun violence. On June 23, 2020, McAlpine was fatally shot during an argument on Elm Street in Tuscaloosa. He died the following day, June 24, 2020, at DCH Regional Medical Center.
