In the spring of 2018, the life of 37-year-old Nathaniel E. Gibson, a Black/African American male from Opelika, Alabama, was tragically cut short. On the evening of March 30th, at approximately 8:30 PM, the Opelika Police Department received a distressing 911 call about a gunshot victim on Chester Avenue.
