In the early hours of September 12, 2017, a grim discovery was made in a residence on Gulfwood Drive East in Mobile, Alabama. Responding to a call at approximately 12:26 a.m., police entered the home to find two men, 31-year-old Reginald Crenshaw Jr. and 28-year-old Brandon Cadwell, had been shot to death.
