In the early hours of June 10, 2017, the life of 17-year-old Lauren McKenzie Wright, a recent high school graduate, was tragically cut short in Demopolis, Alabama. A White/Caucasian female from Gallion, Alabama, Lauren was visiting friends in the area at the time of her death. Originally from Linden and Selma, she had recently graduated from Fairhope High School and was eagerly preparing to attend culinary school to pursue her dream of becoming a baker.
