In the late afternoon of a December day in Fairfield, Alabama, the life of 26-year-old Erykah Nameke Tate was tragically cut short. On December 2, 2024, in the Forest Hills community, deputies responded to a call of a person shot in the 400 block of Forest Drive. Upon their arrival at approximately 4:50 p.m., they discovered Tate suffering from a gunshot wound.
