In the summer of 2016, a single act of violence cut short the life of 35-year-old Joseph Holloway in Opelika, Alabama. On the evening of Sunday, June 26th, Holloway was fatally wounded by gunfire in the vicinity of Hurst Street. The Opelika Police Department responded to the incident and promptly launched a homicide investigation into the shooting.
