In the late spring of 2016, the life of 43-year-old Barrie Dwayne Riggs was tragically cut short in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. On the quiet Sunday morning of May 29, 2016, police were called to the scene of a shooting at an apartment complex on James I. Harrison Jr. Parkway. There, they discovered Riggs suffering from a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to DCH Regional Medical Center, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
