In the summer of 2014, a life was tragically cut short in Opelika, Alabama. On July 21st, 17-year-old Alizah K. Ellis, a male resident of the city, was fatally shot. The incident led to his death at the East Alabama Medical Center, leaving a community to mourn the untimely loss of a young life. Ellis was born on October 2, 1996.
