On the evening of May 2, 2014, Kerry Hardy, a 46-year-old Black male, was found shot to death in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred in the 1200 block of 6th Avenue North, where first responders discovered Hardy with gunshot wounds. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. At the time of his death, Hardy was a respected motivational speaker and Christian author.
