Dahmiere Steven Moody, a 29-year-old Black/African American male from Wilmington, Delaware, was killed on the evening of October 3, 2024, in a shooting that unfolded during a violent stretch of incidents in the city. Police were called at about 7:22 p.m. to the 100 block of West 30th Street, where they found Moody suffering from gunshot wounds.
