In the early morning hours of April 1, 2023, the Beaver Hills neighborhood of New Haven, Connecticut, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Responding to multiple 911 calls and a ShotSpotter activation that registered nine rounds, police arrived at the area of Winthrop Avenue and Goffe Terrace to find a grim scene.
