In the summer of 2024, the life of 14-year-old Kendarius Carter, a young Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. On the evening of July 28th, Kendarius was with a group of people inside an unoccupied townhome on Old Dogwood, not far from his own home in Clayton County, Georgia. It was around 8 p.m. when an unknown individual entered the residence and fatally shot the teenager in the neck. The specific circumstances that led to this violent act remain unclear to the public.
