Derrick “Bo” Jordan, 39, a Black male from Columbus, Georgia, was killed late on the night of May 30, 2024, in a shooting just off downtown, in the 300 block of 12th Street between 3rd Avenue and Veterans Parkway. Reports say the gunfire erupted around 11 p.m., and when help arrived, Jordan had been shot multiple times.
