In the spring of 2024, the life of Gregory Maddox Jr., a 51-year-old Black man, was cut short in his Atlanta, Georgia home. On the evening of May 15th, police were called to a residence in the Washington Park neighborhood, located on Westmoor Drive. Inside, they discovered Mr. Maddox, who had sustained several gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
