On a Sunday afternoon in Atlanta, the life of 20-year-old Jerell Tyreek Battle was tragically cut short. On May 5, 2024, at approximately 12:45 p.m., Atlanta Police Zone 4 officers were dispatched to the Hidden Village Apartments on Landrum Drive SW following a report of a person shot. Upon their arrival, they discovered a young man who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
