In the early morning hours of Thursday, April 11, 2024, the community of McRae-Helena, Georgia, was disturbed by the sound of gunfire. At approximately 1:20 a.m., the McRae-Helena Police Department received a call reporting shots fired near East Magnolia Street and Daughtry Avenue.
