In the late afternoon of a warm Saturday in September, a life was tragically cut short in Columbus, Georgia. On September 23, 2023, 23-year-old Josè Rodriguez, a Hispanic male, was found inside a vehicle in the 2000 block of Fort Benning Road. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
