In the early morning hours of August 21, 2023, a young man's life was tragically cut short outside a Waffle House on Flat Shoals Road in Decatur, Georgia. Bernard Williams, a 19-year-old male, was waiting for a ride at approximately 5 a.m. when he was violently attacked. The encounter escalated quickly from a physical assault to a fatal shooting.
