Jabari Webb, a 15-year-old Black male from Augusta, was shot late on the night of July 12, 2023, in the 500 block of Aiken Street, only days before the birthday his family said he had been eagerly awaiting. Deputies were called to the area around 11:30 p.m., and authorities said he had been shot at least once.
