In the spring of 2023, a dispute between neighbors in Eastman, Georgia, ended in the death of 56-year-old Jim Mack Johnson. A resident of Hawkinsville, Johnson was at a home on Forest Avenue on Sunday, May 14, 2023, when he was shot.
