In the late hours of a Wednesday in Macon, Georgia, a simmering argument erupted into deadly violence, claiming the life of 43-year-old Trerico Kenyon Thomas. On May 3, 2023, Bibb County deputies responded to a call of a person shot in the 2400 block of Greenwood Terrace, where they found Thomas unresponsive in the roadway. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by the deputy coroner. Thomas was a Black male.
