In the fading light of a Saturday evening in Lagrange, Georgia, on February 4, 2023, the life of 15-year-old Quendarrious Woodyard was irrevocably altered. A student at LaGrange High School, the young male found himself in the midst of a chaotic shootout that erupted outside a convenience store on Whitesville Road, a gathering spot for local youth. Multiple shooters are believed to have been involved in the exchange of gunfire. During the incident, Woodyard was struck in the back by a bullet.
