In the winter of 2023, a life was tragically cut short in Columbus, Georgia. On the evening of January 15th, 23-year-old Kameron Duane Holcey of Phenix City, Alabama, was fatally shot in the 2900 block of 3rd Avenue. The Columbus Police Department's Homicide Unit immediately launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the young man's death.
