In the early morning hours of July 23, 2024, the life of 41-year-old Tony 'Boochie' Jones was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire on Dryades Street in New Orleans. First responders arrived at the scene in the 2400 block of the street around 1:40 a.m. to find Jones suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be too severe, and he was pronounced dead.
Tony Jones, a male resident of New Orleans, was born and raised in the city.
