A quiet evening in Baton Rouge turned tragic on Thursday, May 23, 2024, ending the life of a young man with a promising future. Dauntre Leeon Alvis, a 26-year-old male, was discovered in his vehicle on North Harrell's Ferry Road, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
