In the late afternoon hours of Sunday, March 3, 2024, a grim discovery was made at a gas station on Florida Boulevard in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The body of 21-year-old Abby Burt, a Caucasian female from Livingston Parish, was found on the side of the Fast Lane convenience store. Police responded to the scene at approximately 5:45 p.m. and found that Burt had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to her head.
