In the early afternoon of January 24, 2024, tragedy struck in the Algiers neighborhood of New Orleans. A shooting incident unfolded in the 3400 block of Wall Boulevard at approximately 1:13 p.m., resulting in the death of 19-year-old Antoine Patin. The Orleans Parish Coroner's office later identified Patin as the victim of the fatal gunfire.
