In the late hours of a June night in New Orleans, the life of 15-year-old Malik Duckett, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On June 17, 2023, around midnight, the teenager was discovered inside a vehicle in the 2600 block of Elder Street, near Franklin Avenue in the Gentilly Terrace neighborhood.
