A summer evening at a park in Baton Rouge turned tragic, marking the untimely death of 29-year-old Nicholas Brock, a man known in his community as the music artist “Hot Boi Nook”. On June 14, 2023, at approximately 7:30 p.m., the sounds of gunfire shattered the peace at the North Sherwood Forest BREC park. Brock was found near the basketball court, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds from which he died at the scene.
