In the spring of 2023, just twelve days shy of his high school graduation, 17-year-old Zerrick Lebeau Jr. was fatally shot in New Orleans. The promising Eleanor McMain Secondary School senior, a male student known for his intellect and humor, was gunned down on a sidewalk in the 1800 block of Rousseau Street on the evening of Thursday, April 20th.
