In the early morning hours of March 8, 2023, Marvin Enrique Bardales Valle, a 32-year-old Honduran man, was working his shift as a Lyft driver in New Orleans, Louisiana. His life was cut short when he was shot and killed, not long after 2:00 a.m., near an apartment complex in the 7000 block of Morrison Road. A security guard on patrol later discovered Mr. Bardales Valle's body inside his abandoned vehicle. He was a father and a musician who enjoyed playing the guitar.
