In the summer of 2024, a shooting in Northwest Baltimore led to the death of 28-year-old Donovan Fletcher, a Black male. The incident unfolded on the afternoon of May 31, 2024, in the 5300 block of Cordelia Avenue. Fletcher, along with a 25-year-old male and a 25-year-old female, sustained gunshot wounds.
