In the afternoon of May 25, 2024, a shooting incident in the 900 block of North Dukeland Street in Baltimore resulted in the death of 17-year-old Denzel Johnson and injury to another 15-year-old male. Baltimore Police officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert around 3:42 p.m. and discovered Johnson with a fatal gunshot wound. The second victim was also found at the scene with a gunshot wound.
