In the late hours of a spring evening in Baltimore, tragedy struck the Sharp-Leadenhall neighborhood. On May 5, 2024, Lavontay Bishop, a 33-year-old Black male, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the 1000 block of Leadenhall Street. The call came in to the Baltimore Police Department at approximately 10:39 p.m., reporting a shooting in the area near Federal Hill.
