On a Tuesday evening in Baltimore, the crackle of a ShotSpotter alert broke the night's quiet, leading police to a grim discovery. In the 1800 block of North Chapel Street, officers found Darryl Crowder, a 53-year-old male, unresponsive and suffering from multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds. The call came in at approximately 9:29 p.m. on June 13, 2023.
