In the early morning hours of June 10, 2023, the life of 22-year-old Aristides Flores Rosales of Langley Park was cut short by gunfire. Around 2:50 a.m., Prince George's County police officers were called to an apartment building in the 8100 block of 14th Avenue in Hyattsville, Maryland, for a report of a shooting. Inside, they discovered Flores Rosales suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man was also shot during the incident but survived his injuries.
