In the late evening hours of February 13, 2023, a burst of gunfire shattered the night in a Baltimore neighborhood, tragically cutting short the life of 19-year-old Tyree Bell. A Black male, Bell was discovered by Baltimore Police Department officers who had responded to a ShotSpotter alert at approximately 10:38 p.m. in the 1200 block of North Potomac Street. He was suffering from gunshot wounds and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
