Roger Dale Higgins, aged 26, was found brutally murdered alongside 19-year-old Shirley Elizabeth Whitten on February 22, 1972. The pair were discovered in Oak Grove Cemetery in Wildwood, Florida. Both victims had been stabbed multiple times in what remains one of the region’s most infamous unsolved cases.
