In the midst of the holiday season, on Christmas Eve of 2016, the life of 33-year-old Cedric Antwon Weaver was tragically cut short in Atlanta, Georgia. An African-American male, Weaver was seated in his black Buick LaCrosse on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in the middle of the day when a lone gunman approached and shattered the festive afternoon. The assailant fired multiple shots into the vehicle, striking Weaver in the head and chest.
