On a November evening in 2016, the life of a 22-year-old man, Demandril, also known as Dedril, 'Lil Money' Jackson, was cut short in a burst of gunfire. The African-American male was a known figure in the Atlanta music scene, not as a performer himself, but as the uncle and manager of the then-six-year-old rapper, Bankroll PJ. His association with the music world also extended to being a close associate of the rapper Bankroll Fresh, who had been tragically murdered earlier that same year.
