In the early morning hours of a Wednesday in northwest Atlanta, the life of 18-year-old Kyle Taylor was tragically cut short. Just before 1 a.m. on September 23, 2015, Taylor, a young Black man who was eagerly awaiting the birth of his first child, stepped out of a home on Spellman Street to meet with two men. Shortly after he went outside, an argument is believed to have taken place, ending with the sound of a single gunshot.
