On a cold Valentine's Day morning in 2015, the lives of two brothers were tragically cut short in their southwest Atlanta home. Marcus Peek, a 37-year-old African-American male, and his younger brother, Ras Aole JaJa Peek, aged 32, were discovered shot to death inside their residence on Mims Street. The grim discovery was made after police responded to a call regarding gunshots that had been heard earlier that morning.
