On July 28, 2024, 32-year-old Amber Williams was fatally shot outside Sam's Southern Eatery, located at 3505 Gravois Avenue in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident, which occurred around 8:40 p.m., also resulted in injuries to three men aged 29, 32, and 34. Williams, a resident of Florissant, was transported to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
